Danville, NH-"Libby" (Arnold) Marshall, 95, of Danville, NH, died Tuesday, June 13, 2006 at the Nevins Nursing Home, Methuen, MA.
She was born in Lawrence, MA, grew up and was educated in Salem, NH and graduated from Woodbury High School.
She was a resident of Danville for the past 22 years, formerly of Raymond, Windham and Salem, NH.
Mrs. Marshall was a retired bookkeeper for Klev-Bros Shoe in Derry, NH. She had also worked for the Supt. Of Schools in Hudson, NH.
She was a former member of the Pleasant Street United Methodist Church in Salem and the Windham Presbyterian Church in Windham, where she had directed the choir.
She loved music, playing the piano and organ, reading, crocheting and history. She adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She collected tea cups and teddy bears.
She was predeceased by her husband, Clifford Marshall (and her sister, Ruth Mae (Arnold) Ladebush Marotte).
She is survived by one daughter, Carol, of Salem; two grandchildren, Leanne and her husband Deke, of Salem, and Donna and her husband Timothy of Londonderry; and eight great grandchildren-Allycia, Chelsie, Angela, Dalton, Michelle, Emily, Arianna and Isabelle.
Arrangements: Memorial visitation will be Friday from 3-6 pm, followed by a memorial service at 6npm at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem. Burial will be at a later date in the Old Meetinghouse Cemetery in Danville. Because of her love of local history the family requests donations in her memory be made to Old Meetinghouse Association, President, in Danville, NH.
