She was a native of Folkston and a resident of Jacksonville, Fla., before moving to Waycross 27 years ago. She was a member of Mount Zion Primitive Baptist Church and a former member of Ben James Primitive Baptist Church. She retired from the Crusader Paper Plant and was the widow of Dennis W. Waldron.
SURVIVORS: two daughters, Mary L. Spires of Waycross and Lillie Christner of Jacksonville; a son, John L. Waldron of Alachua, Fla.; a sister, Eleanor Howard Richardson of Jacksonville; 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
