Born in Nicholls, GA on March 12, 1941, she moved to Blackshear and graduated from Blackshear High School in 1959. Ms. Richardson moved to Jacksonville in 1960 when she enrolled in the Massey Business College. Following graduation she began her teaching career at University Christian School where she had been their FBLA leader. She eventually went on to teach at Job Corps where she would later retire. Ms. Richardson was of the Baptist faith. She was the sweetest person in the world who loved animals. She was a master of genealogy who loved helping others look up theirs.
She was a daughter of the late Simon Peter & Ethel Beatrice Waters Howard, IV. She was also preceded in death by all of her siblings, Minnie Moore Howard Tuten, Viola Howard Waldron, Idell Howard Roberts, Simon Peter Howard, V, and Cornelius Hendry Howard, Sr.
Survivors include her two sons, Gary Wayne Richardson and Edward Richardson both of Jacksonville; her sister-in-law, Wanda Howard (Jim) Benson of Blackshear; her best friend, Margaret Lloyd of Jacksonville; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
The family will have a visitation for Ms. Richardson on Monday, July 5, 2021, from 2-3 pm at the funeral home.
Interment will be in the Meeks Cemetery in Nicholls.
