Charles Monroe Dies
Charles Monroe, age 80, a resident of Chase for the past 54 years, passed away December 30, 1941, death being due to a heart attack. Mr. Monroe had been in poor health for the past five years. Is survived by his widow and one adopted daughter, Mrs. C. W. Bales of California.
Burial was made in Chase, with the funeral services being conducted by Rev. H. O. Davis, assisted by Rev. R. E. Vandersall, Thursday, Jan. 1st.
