DIED AT NIAGARA FALLS
ANDREW SHEELY
Stricken with influenza while on his wedding trip, Andrew Sheely, of Cashtown. died this morning at seven o'clock at Niagara Falls. He was aged about 30 years.
On November 30th Mr. Sheely married Miss Elizabeth Diehl, a daughter of James Dieh!, of Cashtown. They left shortly afterward on their honeymoon, the greater part of which was to be spent at Niagara Fails and other cities in that section. While there, Mr. Sheely became ill from influenza and on Tuesday his wife telegraphed to his brothers and sisters that his condition was serious. Daniel Sheeiy and Miss Flora Sheely left in the afrerr.oon for his bed side
Mr, Sheely was a son of Noah Sheely, one of the pioneer orchardists of Adams County. The family has always lived a: Cashtown and the brothers. have conducted successfully the farm, orchard and stock business since the father's death.
They are the owners of the modern round barn which has been visited by thousands of-people in the past few years.
Andrew Sheely leaves his wife, and these brothers and sisters; Daniel Sheely, Robert Sheely. Miss Flora Sheely, and Miss Atlce Sheely, all at home; Mrs. C. A. Stocksbtger, of Philadelphia; Mrs. J. E. Rebert. of Cashtown; and Mrs. Guy Linn, Orrtanna.
The body will be brought home on Thursday morning, arriving in Gettysburg over the Reading at 10:20.
It will ihen be taken to Cashtown. The day and hour for the funeral services have not been announced.
