John Boettcher.
John Boettcher, whose home was in Osage precinct, about nine miles northwest of Talmage, died in an Omaha Hospital, Thursday, august 17th, following an operation for some stomach trouble.
The remains were shipped to Lorton Friday evening and thence conveyed to the home. The funeral was held Saturday afternoon at McWilliams church, Rev. Eller preaching the sermon. Interment was made in the McWilliams cemetery.
Mr. Boettcher was 46 years of age and had lived in that neighborhood a number of years. He was one of the prominent farmers of that locality and was highly esteemed by all who knew him. He is survived by the wife and several children.
