Faye Guy, a native of Frisco City, Alabama and a resident of Eight-Mile, Alabama, died Thursday, May 10, 2018 at her residence. Mrs. Guy was a member of Saraland Church of Christ and enjoyed cooking, gardening, growing vegetables and caring for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. G. Guy; her parents, Jesse Bailey and Emily Sue Bailey; and nine of her siblings. She is survived by three children, Kathi G. Allen, Joseph Bryant (Jannet) Guy, and Gary Lamar Guy; two brothers, Ivy Bailey and Bill Bailey; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives. The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 12, 2018 from 1:30 P.M. until the 3 P.M. funeral service at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
