Katie and her brother Eugene were first buried on Grandpas home place and many years afterwards were dug up and buried at Mt. Orum cemetery near Redfield, Ks. In digging up the two children all they ever found was a button off of Eugene's coat. Regardless the ground was put in the coffins and buried.
