He was a member of the Civilian Conservation Corps, and served in the U.S. Army from 1941 until 1945 in the Philippines and Japan.
Doris Humbert became his bride on April 6, 1946 in Bellingham, and he was a wonderful husband and dad. Harold was an avid walker and exercise enthusiast.
Vitality Food Center in Bellingham was owned and operated by Harold for 10 years. He was a life member of Disabled American Veterans and past commander
He was preceded in death by five sisters and three brothers.
There will be a private family graveside service at Greenacres Memorial Park with military honors.
