Daniel (Danny) Aasen, 30, resident of Doty, Washington, died Tuesday, August 23, 1988 as a result of an automobile accident near Packwood, Washington. He grew up in the Clearbrook area and attended Clearbrook school.
He pursued a career as a timber faller throughout Northern California and western Washington.
He is survived by his wife Marianne; daughters Leanna and Amanda at home and daughters Cassandre, Joanna and Jennifer of Clearbrook; parents James and Hope Aasen; sisters Gloria, (Mrs. Ben) Vorderbruggen; Carolyn (Mrs. Steven) Cornell all of Clearbrook; Suzanne (Mrs. Mike) Molden of Gonvick; Patricia (Mrs. Kelly) Cornell of St. Paul; 5 brothers, Jim of Clarkston, Washington; Jerry of Fort Bragg, California; Bill of Springfield, Oregon; Joe of Morton, Washington and David of Willits, California; also 20 nieces and 9 nephews and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.
Funeral services for Danny were held at 11 a.m. Monday, August 29th at Brown Funeral Home in Morton, Washington with Charles Hasvold officiating. Burial was at Oak Park Cemetery, Weme.
Remembrances were donated to Lewis County Search and Rescue Service. Danny's love of life was often expressed in his love of music.
