Our dad, Johnnie - wonderful - always there for us. Son of John P. and Hattie Brown. His father was a storekeeper on Gilbert St in Shreveport, he was a bookkeeper. Brother of Mattie Mae Pilcher and Shannon George Brown. Daughters - Sandra Ruth and Peggy Shannon Brown - Married to Carmel Clark April 20 1940, later to Mary Lewis Hall Murdaugh in 1962.

His nickname was Archie
