Death of an Aged Lady
Mrs. Betsy Copeland, widow of the late John T Copeland, died at the home of her son-in-law, Mr. G.W. Ellis, last Saturday, after a short illness of pneumonia. She was 81 years of age, a member of Fork Hill Baptist church and an exemplary Christian woman. She leaves five children surviving her, v.z.; Minor and Jasper Copeland of Indian Territory, and Mrs. Mary Horton, Mrs. G.W. Copeland and Mrs. H.C. Connell, of this county. Her remains were interred Sunday at Fork Hill church after funeral services conducted by Rev. S.N. Watson.
