Mr. A.M. Caston, of Pleasant Hill township, died at his home near Fork Hill church on Tuesday of last week, February 28. He was about 73 years of age and leaves his wife, several children and a host of friends to mourn his loss.

Another good old citizen of Lancaster County has gone to his reward. Mr. A.M. Caston, of Pleasant Hill township, died at his home near Fork Hill church on Tuesday of last week, Feby. 28th. He was about 73 years of age and leaves his wife, several children and a host of friends to mourn his loss.
He served as a member of Capt. DePass' Company during the Civil War and made a good soldier. He was a member of the Baptist church and was a good, honest, upright ma. The Ledger loses a good friend and one among its first subscribers by his death. His remains were interred at Fork Hill Baptist church on the 1st inst. We extend to his family our heartfelt sympathy in their bereavement.
