She came to the U S at the age of three and had lived in Claremont for ninety one years. She had worked as a weaver at the Dartmouth Woolen Mill during the early 1930's. She was a life member of the Sullivan County Pomona Grange and a member of the World War Mothers.
She married Edward Windom Twyon on November 18, 1912 in Concord, NH who preceded her in death.
Surviving are two sons Col (ret) Donald E Twyon of South Newbury, NH and Robert W Twyon of Claremont; daughter Margaret Leavitt of Newport, NH; eight grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren.
Burial is in Mtn View cemetery.
