Estherwood - Funeral services for Hilliard Joseph Myers, Sr., 63, will be held at 3:30 today in Estherwood Catholic Church. Burial will be in Estherwood Cemetery.
He died Sunday at 3:15 p.m. in Abram-Kaplan Hospital. He was a native of Estherwood and a resident of Indian Bayou. He was an electrician for Gulf States Utilities and a Navy Veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Della Marie DuPont Myers of Indian Bayou; two sons, Hilliard Joseph "Sonny" Myers, Jr., of Mary Esther, Florida and Charles Adam Myers of Lacassine; four daughters, Jeanette Marie Myers Bertrand of Indian Bayou, Sylvia Faye Myers Kibodeaux of Lake Arthur, Edna Mae Myers Hebert of Mire and Brenda Susan "Susie" Myers Istre of Orange, Texas; two brothers, Hilton Myers of Port Arthur, Texas and Elton Myers of Bridge City, Texas, 22 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
