MENASHA - Frank A. "Bob Hocky" Hackstock, 52, of 847 Roosevelt St., died unexpectedly Thursday afternoon in Theda Clark Regional Medical Center. Born in Neenah June 11, 1927, he had lived in Menasha all his life.
He was a 1945 graduate of St. Mary High School, a veteran of World War II, and a member of the Lenz-Gazecki American Legion Post of Menasha and the Holy Name Society of St. Mary Catholic Church. An employee of American Can Company for 35 years, he was a member of the company's Century Club.
Surviving, in addition to his widow, Shirley, are one daughter, Stacey, at home; and three sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Janssen, Little Chute, Mrs. Al (Verna) Muench, Neenah, and Miss Rose Hackstock, Menasha. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Laemmrich Funeral Home and at 11 a.m. in St. Mary Catholic Church.
The Rev. Norman Fontaine will officiate. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, where a prayer service will be held at 8 p.m. Sunday.
A memorial is being established.
