Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 PM from the Maple Springs Baptist Church with Rev Windell Todd and Rev Felix Hayes officiating. Burial with Smith Funeral Home in charge will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Collins, a life-long resident of Madison County, was the daughter of the late John Henry And Sarah Alice Hailey Hill.
She was a member of the Madison Baptist Church and prior to her illness she was a member of the Ladies Sunday School Class.
Survivors other than her husband are two sons, J W Collins and Melvin Collins of Madison Hall; two daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Collins of Madison Hall and Mrs. Louise Collins of Denmark; three brothers, Horace and Elmer Hill of Jackson and Brice Hill of Memphis; a sister Mrs. Ruby Mansfield of Jackson; 18 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers to serve will be Ray Hill, Ralph Hill, Jessie Collins, Lindy Collins, Wayne Taylor and Charlie Collins.
