Mirando Man Dies [Mirando, Webb, TX]
Funeral services were held in Laredo Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock for Jerry Dale DeLay, 81, father of Ray DeLay of Mirando City, who died at the home of his son in Mirando City Wednesday at 6 p.m. He was a native of France and was a retired farmer and had made his home with his son and family during the past four months.
Following funeral services at the home in Mirando City conducted by Rev. A. W. Todd of the Baptist church the body was brought to Laredo and interment made in the city cemetery here. Active pallbearers were Gail Beem, Joe Anderson, Earl Carpenter, J. E. Stedman, Frank Staggs and H. A. Mathis.
