Mrs. Kate Fox Boling - age 78, of Mascot, Rt 1. died at Morristown Hamblen Hospital. Member of Byerley's Chapel Baptist Church. She was the widow of Floyd H. Boling Sr., and she was the mother of the late James Boling, who died in 1972. Survivors: Daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Taylor of Corryton, Mrs. Mary Faye Reed, Mrs. Neta Fox and Mrs. Kathleen Bolin, all of Mascot, Mrs. Betty Jean Churchman of Jefferson City; sons, Coy and Floyd Boling, Jr. all of Mascot; 17 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Mrs. Clyde Fox of Tellico Plains. Funeral services 2 p.m. Sunday, Byerley's Chapel Baptist Church, Rev. Lloyd Henry, Rev. Jimmy Dockins, Rev. Dewey Raley officiating. Interment Highland East. Pallbearers will be grandsons. The family will be staying at the home of a daughter, Kathleen Bolin, on Howell Road. The body is at McCarty's.
