Floyd Houston Boling - age 74, Howell Road, Mascot, Route 1, passed away Wednesday morning at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. He was a retired farmer and a charter member of Byerley's Chapel Baptist Church where he had taught the Men's Adult Class for 37 years. Survivors: wife, Mrs. Kate Fox Boling, daughters, Dorothy Taylor, Corryton, Mrs. Betty Jean Churchman, Jefferson City, Mrs. Mary Faye Reed, Mrs. Neta Fox, Mrs. Kathleen Bolin, all of Mascot; sons, Coy and Floyd Jr., of Mascot; 16 grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Alfred Nichols, Mascot, Mrs. Elsie McMahan, Alcoa; brother, Elmer Boling, Maryville. half-sisters, Mrs. Lillie Sharp, Sevierville, and Mrs. Mildred Tunison, Florida; half-brothers, Theodore Smith, Knoxville, Johnie Matt Evans, Mascot, several nieces ad nephews. Services Friday 2 p.m. Byerley's Chapel Baptist Church. Rev. Dewey Railey, Jr. Rev. Lloyd Henry, Rev. David Arwood officiating. Interment Holston View Cemetery, Pallbearers will be grandsons, Honorary pall-bearers, all former pastors and Men's Adult Sunday School Class and Deacons of Byerley's Chapel. The body will be taken to the church one hour before services. Family will meet at the home of Coy Boling on Howell Road prior to the services. Family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Thursday at McCarty Mortuary.
