Funeral services were held in Sioux Falls yesterday for Ole Moi, 71, formerly of Luverne. Interment was in Maplewood cemetery here.
Mr. Moi died Saturday at Tacoma, Wash., where he had been visiting with relatives. He had been living in Sioux Falls since 1944, where he was employed by an insulation firm.
Born in Norway, May 6, 1895, he came to this country when he was 15 years old. He worked as a farm laborer in the Luverne area for a number of years. He served in the army during World War I.
Surviving him are Mrs. Moi, seven daughters Lelia, Linda, Lynne, LaNae, Rhonda, and Mrs. Friessen, all of Sioux Falls, and Mrs. D. C. Schrader, Tacoma; a son , Lance, of Sioux Falls; two sisters, Mrs. Anne Aanenson, Luverne and Mrs. William Noer, of San Diego, and two brothers, John and Ted, both of Luverne.
