Funeral for Mother of Five Will be Held At Two O'clock Today
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 o'clock this afternoon from Our Savior's Lutheran church for Mrs. Harry T. Olson, Luverne resident, who died at the Worthington sanitorium Tuesday morning after an illness of a year's duration. Rev. J. O. Mundahl will officiate and burial will be made at Maplewood. Six nephews, Donald Noer, Ole Hommen, Aanen, Alex, Arne and Selmar Aanenson, will be pallbearers.
Saverine Kristine Moi Olson was born February 28, 1901, in Moi, Kvenesdal, Norway. She came to America in June, 1916, coming directly to Luverne where she continued to make her home until the time of her death. She married Harry T. Olson in Sioux Falls on July 5, 1920 and to the union were born six children, five of whom survive her. They are Harriet, Odin, Leona, Eldon and Gene, all at home. One son, Kenneth, preceded her in death in October, 1928. In addition to her children and her husband, she is survived by two sisters, Mrs. William Noer and Mrs., Theodore Aanenson of Luverne, and three brothers, Ole, John and Ted Moi, also of Luverne.
