REPETTO, Mrs. Louisa September 12, 1874 Mariposa Gazette
Sudden Death.-Mrs. Repetto, wife of Louis Repetto, of Coulterville, died very suddenly on Sunday last. She had been in good health up to a few minutes prior to her decease, and was conversing with some Italian friends who were eating grapes and drinking wine at Pendola's store. She was in the act of sipping a glass of wine, when she was suddenly taken with an apoplectic fit, and in fifteen minutes was a lifeless corpse. Deceased was born in the town of Bear Valley, and was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Castagnetto, and no resident or frequent visitor of that town will soon forget the bright, intelligent and interesting Louisa Castagnetto. Only a few months since she was united in the bonds of matriomony to Mr. Repetto, a young man of excellent character, and himself a general favorite, and their wedded life promised a bright future. The sudden and sad termination of the existence of one so generally beloved has cast a gloom over the entire community, who most truly sympathize with the bereaved husband and relatives of the deceased.
Louisa has two stones, one in Coulterville #7098666 , one in Bear Valley, #50185159 , although the dates on the stones vary. According to the obit, Louisa died Sept 6th, 1874. The stone in Coulterville lists her death the same but the birth in 1856. It is unknown where her actual burial is.
