Cademartori Rites in Hornitos
Mrs. Laura Cademartori, 62, pioneer of Mariposa county, who died at her Hornitos home yesterday morning, will be held Friday morning at 10:30 from the Catholic church, Father Frederick Deschenes of Mariposa officiating. The body is now at the Welch and Griffin mortuary in Merced where it will remain until returned to Hornitos for the service. Interment will be in the Catholic cemetery. Death resulted from an illness which had lasted for several months.
Mrs. Cademartori was the widow of Giovanni (John) Cademartori, who died here a few years ago. She was born in Mariposa county June 10, 1864, and spent her entire life here. Faithful in church work and friendship, she leaves a host of friends to mourn.
One son and two daughters survive: August Cademartori, Mrs. Angelina Guest and Mrs. Amelia Williams, all of Hornitos.
Surviving also are one brother and two sisters: Dan Castagnetto of Hunter's Valley, Mrs. Angie Dulcich of Stockton, and Mrs. Louisa Lord of Merced.
