She was born September 10, 1927 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Emily Theresia Bohner and Glen Ashby.
She married Donald Eugene Lever on July 31, 1945 in the Logan Temple. Ruby was an active member of the LDS Church, touching many lives as she served in church callings including a mission in the Philippines with her husband, Donald. She enjoyed traveling, handwork, and music, but most of all loved being with her family.
Ruby is survived by her daughters, Sheri (Dave) Jones, Kandi (Rex) Searle, Tauna (Jerry) Anderson, Lanisu Ford; sons, Michael (Deanne) Lever and Kim Lever; brothers, Ralph, David and Steven Ashby; sister, Joan Ford; forty-two grandchildren; seventy-one great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband; daughter; parents; two brothers; four grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 26, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Lake Ridge Fourth Ward Chapel, 3151 South 7700 West, Magna, UT, where the family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Friday from 9:30-10:30 a.m.
Interment: Kaysville City Cemetery.
