William Schurevich died at the Meriden-Wallingford Hospital in Meriden, CT on March 13, 1974 following a lengthy illness. He was born on January 1, 1891 in Borsov, Minsk, Russia; the son of Nik and Kamue (Kyzmicka) Schurevich.

He entered the U S under the name Wasily Schurewitz in 1911 and has lived in Meriden since 1928. He was employed by the Manning Bowman Co until retiring in 1965. He was a parishioner of St Stanislaus church.

He married Anna Bielawoc who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by son Casimer

Surviving are two daughters Marion Spiinelli of Hollywood, FL and Helen Schipritt of Meriden with whom he made his home; and son Michael Schurevich of Westfield; fourteen grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.

Burial is in St Mary's Cemetery.
