He lived there for 35 years and went to Callicoon and engaged in the coal and feed business in which he was joined by his brother, Charles P.
John retired from active connection in the business several years ago on account of heart trouble.
Leaves wife, Margret Wahl of the Town of Fremont, son John H and a daughter Rose of Callicoon.
Also 3 sisters and 2 brothers - Mrs Lizette Bauernfeind and Charles P of Callicoon, Conrad of Beechwoods and Julia wife ofJohn C Beck and Barbara wife of Fred Faubel of Jeffersonville."
