Born in the Beechwoods she was a daughter of Christian Kautz and Julia Maus natives of Germany.
On September 8 1892 she married Fred Faubel a carpenter of Jeffersonville.
Only one son was born to them who died at age 11 weeks.
Leaves husband, 2 sisters and 2 brothers, Mrs Lizzette Bauernfeind and Conrad Kautaz of Beechwoods; Mrs Julia Beck of Jeffersonville and Charles P of Callicoon."
