George was b. in Mooresville, Iredell Co., NC., the youngest son of James Kerr and Malinda Catherine Marsh. He settled down in Fouke, Miller Co., Ar. Where he and his wife Sally nee(Williams)(Roberts) Kerr had two children, Ura Cozy nee(Kerr) Vaughan who is deceased and buried in Restland Memorial Park, Dallas, Tx., and a son John Amos Kerr, never married buried in the National Cemetery, Ft. Smith,Ar. Although he died in Ft. Smith, his remains were shipped to Tulsa to be beside his departed wife Sally.
