Mr. Robert Stanley Boyd, Jr., 76, of Clovis, a truck driver, died Tuesday, February 5, 2002, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.
He was born August 19, 1925, in Taiban to Lillie Mae and Robert S. Boyd, Sr.
He served in the U.S. Army and worked for the civil service. He later drove a truck for Barnett K & Sons Inc. of Clovis.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Imogene Lenora Boyd; a son, Harlan; his parents; a brother, Roy; and a sister, Zelma Self.
Mr. Boyd is survived by three daughters, Diana Nelson and Carolyn Pruitt, both of Clovis, and Charlotte Harris of Warner Robins, GA; two brothers, Don Boyd of Clovis and Ben Boyd of Boise, ID; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Services will be held 10 a.m. Monday at Steed-Todd Chapel in Clovis.
Dr. James Burke will officiate.
Burial will be at Mission Garden of Memories in Clovis.
Pallbearers will be Tony Lopez, W. Y. Mitchell, George Milburn, Sam Hardcastle, Earl Hudspeth and Kelly Hanz.
Arrangements are by Steed-Todd Funeral Home in Clovis.
