Lucille Looney
Services for Lucille Looney, 87, Tishomingo were held Saturday, July 13 at 10:00 a.m. at the Sandy Baptist Church in Sulphur with Bro. David Lewis officiating assisted by Bro. Pete Wall. Interment was at the Sandy Cemetery under the direction of Clark Funeral Home.
Mrs. Looney was born on October 8, 1914 in Sulphur to James and Serena Fulsom Alexander. She died Thursday, July 11, 2002 in Tishomingo.
She attended school in the Fairview Community, Davis and Oklahoma City. For several years she worked as a hostess in the restaurant business and in later years was a homemaker. She moved to Tishomingo from Oklahoma City in 1984.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Carol Looney, Tishomingo; two sisters, Lorene Greenwood, Fittstown and Irene Digby, Davis. Also numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Looney; a brother, Herman Pettigrew, and a sister, Caroline Alexander Stribling.
