Services for Raymond Walker Harper, 76, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Calvary Baptist Church, under the direction of the Dunn-Clagg Funeral Home. The Rev. T.B. Ritzinger will conduct the rites.

Mr. Harper died today in a Sulphur hospital.

He was born, May 6, 1900, in Carter County, to William and Maggie McSpadden Harper and lived most of his life in the Frederick area in Jackson County. He moved to the Sulphur area in 1965 from Altus.

Now retired, Mr. Harper was a farmer and employed by the Coca-Cola Co. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

On Nov. 10, 1926, he married Alma Schellar in Hollister.

Survivors include his wife, Alma, of the home; one son, Weldon Harper, Sulphur; two brothers, Bill Harper, Cleburne, Texas, and Joe Harper, Waco, Texas, and two sisters, Mrs. Donald Nelson, Frederick, and Annie McSpadden, Duncan.

Members of the church Sunday School Class will be bearers. Burial will be in Frederick Cemetery.
