Pencil Wound Fatal
Jamie, the little son of Mr. and Mrs. William Harper, living 13 miles northwest of Frederick, died Wednesday night, June 22, from blood poisoning occasioned by a wound in the roof of his mouth from a lead pencil. The child fell on the pencil about six weeks prior to his death. The child was three years old. The funeral was held at 3 o'clock on the 23rd, and burial was made at the Schofield cemetery.
