CECIL SUMMERS
Cecil Summers, 72, a retired farmer who farmed near Metz on Route 3, died Saturday.
Summers was born April 27, 1906, at Metz, the son of William Allen Summers and Alice Boling Summers.
He was a member of the Christian Church and for the past six or seven years had made his home in Nevada. He had never married. He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Walter Steele of Butler, and one brother, Emmett Summers of Nevada. He lived at the Moore-Few Nursing Home since April.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1:30 a.m. at the Ferry Funeral Home with interment in the Rinehart Cemetery.
The Rev. Clifford Hauxwell will conduct the services.
