William M. Wiggins, 91, of Tice, died at his home. He was survived by five daughters, Mrs. L. W. Barley, Mrs. D. L. Hammel, Mrs. Frank Daniels of Fort Myers, Mrs. W. H. McLeod of Tampa and Mrs. J. W. Owens of St. Petersburg; sons, Billy Wiggins of Fort Myers, A. J. and W. R. Wiggins of Everglades; 29 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren. Services were held at Spooner & Engelhardt chapel. Interment in Fort Myers Cemetery. (Fort Myers Press, 5/17/40)
