Otis A. (Oty) Anderson Sr. 67, who lived on R. 12 one half mile south on Indiana 43 died at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in St. Elizabeth hospital. He had been hospitalized for 10 days, but ill for two years.
Born at Kenton, Ohio he had lived in this community for 50 years. He was the operator of the Main tavern.
Surviving are the widow the former Estelle Robertson, three sons, Harold and Otis Jr. both of Battle Ground and Paul of R 12; two daughters Mrs. Harold Jones of Lafayette and Mrs. Clifford Farmer of Crawfordsville; a granddaughter Miss Margaret Anderson who was reared in the Anderson home; a brother Zeffe of Montauk, NY and a sister Mrs. Charles Sipler of Azusa, CA and several half brothers living in Kenton, Ohio.
