James C. Allison

James C. Allison, 72, died at 10:30 o'clock Sunday night at his home near Lovely. He had been in failing health for a number of years and had been bedfast for two weeks.

Born at Fishertown August 11, 1873, he was the son of Robert W. and Mary Ann (Allen) Allison and followed the profession of farming. He married Eratta Margaret Carrel on June 3, 1893.

He is survived by 10 children - Mrs. Florence Gray and Mrs. Rose Glacken, Johnstown; Mrs. Clella Taylor, Ralph Allison, Mrs. Cora Harr and Mrs. Mary Gephart, Alum Bank; Waldo Allison, New Paris; Mrs. Elizabeth Geiyer, Gray; Mrs. Lavada Westover, Akron, O., and Mrs. Thelma Westover, Newton Falls.

Also surviving are a brother and two sisters - Dittmar Allison, Lebanon County; Mrs. Rachel Miller, Alum Bank and Mrs. Annie Clark, Lock Haven.

Membership was held in the Evangelical Church.

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon at the Mt. Union Evangelical Church, Lovely. The Rev. C.R. Doverspike officiating.

Interment was in Pleasantville Cemetery under the direction of
