Virginia Valencia Archuleta age 79, of Santa Fe, passed away March 15, 2010 due to a short illness.
She was born to Catalino and Tiburcia Gonzales Valencia, on December 25, 1930 in Colonias, New Mexico. Virginia is preceded in death by husband, Casimiro Archuleta; parents Catalino and Tiburcia Valencia; sisters, Librada "Lala" Rodriguez and Carlota "Charlie" Valencia; and brothers, Philadelfio and Bartolo Valencia.
She is survived by her children; Gilbert Archuleta and wife, Mary, Lydia Flanagan and husband, Gene, Patricio Archuleta, Geronimo "Jerry" Archuleta, Steve Archuleta and wife, Joy, and Mary Ann Archuleta-Ball and husband, Tim; and siblings; Silviano Valencia, Amado "Tito" Valencia, Ted Valencia and Erlinda Lucero. She is also survived by, 12 loving grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
A Rosary will be recited Friday, March 19, 2010, at 9 a.m. at Cristo Rey Church. Mass of Christian Buriel will be celebrated immediately after Rosary at 10 a.m..
