Thelma Wright Burnett, 86, formerly of 160 Bunch Street, died Saturday, September 10, 2005 at Mountain View Nursing Home. Mrs. Burnett, a native of Beaumont, SC, was the daughter of the late Carl and Cora Jones Wright, and the wife of the late Ollie Burnett. She was a housewife and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include 2 brothers, Wardlaw Wright and Carl Wright, Jr., both of Clifton;
2 sisters, Zellon W. Donald of Cowpens and Bina W. Gallman of Gaffney; and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Burnett was predeceased by 2 brothers, Robert and Kenneth Wright, and 2 sisters, Desmer W. Brown and Audrey W. Hughey.
Graveside services will be 3:00 p.m. today, Monday, Sept. 12, at Daniel Morgan Memorial Gardens officiated by the Rev. Terry Layton.
