After graduating high school, Mrs. Morgan attended Business College before her and her late husband, Widdie E. Morgan founded Morgan Steel Buildings. She was known as quite a business woman. She volunteered with the Salvation Army, the Red Cross, and Presbyterian Village for many years and was a member of the Little Rock Departmental Club where she helped raise money for Nursing Scholarships. Mrs. Morgan was a faithful member of Little Rock's First United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the Bethel Sunday School Class.
She is survived by her nephew, John Morgan and his wife Sharon of Little Rock, and great nephew, Scott Morgan and his wife, Scarlett of Little Rock, along with numerous other nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband and brother, Lawrence Nipper.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, March 12, at 1:00 PM at Roselawn Memorial Park with Rev. Mary Jane Cole officiating.
