Dee, 80, of Lansing died. Dee was born to John and Mary Carroll, the youngest of 12 children. She was baptized in the river in Kentucky by her father-in-law, the Rev. Poppy Ford. She lived in Muskegon and moved to Lansing where she opened her own Hair Salon. She loved music, dancing and meeting people. Most of all she loved her family.

Dee was preceded in death by her daughter, Rose Mary Ford; 2 granddaughters, Tracey Alvarado and Angela Kolonich; and husbands, Eugene Ford and Clarence Leverton.

Surviving are her daughters, Kathy, Lisa and Patricia Ford; grandchildren, Bryce, Travis, Heather and Joy; 6 great-grandchildren; and sister, Loraine Malinowski.
