Died: Monday, March 8, 2010, at Westwood Hills Healthcare Center in Poplar Bluff.
Ms. Humphrey was born Aug. 28, 1922, Harviell, Butler County, the daughter of Charles William Humphries and Frances Anna Bescheinen *Humphries.
She was a homemaker. She enjoyed doing yard work and gardening.
Survivors include:
a daughter, Marian Whoberry of Wappapello;
two sons,
Danny Humphrey and Ronald Humphrey, both of Poplar Bluff;
six grandchildren,
11 great-grandchildren,
one great-greatgrandchild;
three sisters,
Shirley Birdsong and
Betty Lankford, both of Poplar Bluff, MO and Delores Ryals of Rockwell, Texas;
and a brother,
Junior Humphries of Gravois Mills,MO.
Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff.
The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. Thursday in the chapel with the Rev. Jim Schremp officiating.
Burial will be at the City Cemetery in Poplar Bluff.
