Mrs. Lillian B. Gapen, 90, of Greensboro, R.D. 1, died at 2:05 a.m. Monday in Greene County Memorial Hospital, Waynesburg. She was born April 11, 1878, at Mapletown, a daughter of the late John and Louise Mestrezat Barb. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Harley (Helen) Six of Greensboro, R.D. 1; three sons, George of Girards Fort, Clark of Greensboro, R.D. 1, and John D of Waynesburg; six grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Frank (Ethel) Donham of Mapletown, and a brother.

Her husband, George S. Gapen died in 1953.
