RUTHERFORDTON, NC-- Lillie Deloria Wilson, 87, of 1881 Big Island Road, died Friday, June 4, 2004 in Holly Springs Senior Citizens Home. A native of Rutherford county, she was the widow of Curtis L. Wilson and a daughter of the late William and Dovie McCraw. She was a homemaker and a member of Broad River Baptist Church. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family She was preceded in death by a son, Franklin Dewitt Wilson.
She is survived by a daughter, Nancy Diane Miller and husband Harry Ray, of Cooley Springs; five sons, William Curtis Wilson (Jr.) and wife Diane, of Inman, Kenneth Douglas Wilson and wife Norma, of Chesnee, Carl Glenn Wilson and wife Martha, of Chesnee, Roger Dean Wilson, of Inman, and David Ronald Wilson, of the home; five grandsons, Dwayne, Craig and Greg Wilson, Chris and Clint Miller; three great-grandchildren, Brianna Nicole Wilson, Blake Austin Wilson and Ian Zane Miller; several nieces and nephews also survive.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. tonight at Eggers Funeral Home in Chesnee. Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 6, 2004 at 3:00 p.m. at Broad River Baptist Church. Rev. Reid Cooper and Rev. Charles Garrett will be officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
