Mooreland Leader, Dec. 1, 1927 Obituary:
Thomas Alexander Peery was born Nov. 10, 1860; died Nov. 14, 1927. The funeral was held from the Methodist church on Nov. 16, services conducted by Rev. Glenn Millard. Interment was made in the Haskew cemetery. He was united in marriage to Malinda J. Gooch, Aug. 17, 1885; to which union four children were born. One son, Willian Nathan, preceded him in death in 1913. He is survived by his wife and three daughters: Mrs. F.M. Starr, Quinlan, OK; Mrs. W.M. Sharkey, Salt Springs, OK; Mrs. J.A. Weiszbrod, Mooreland, OK. He leaves twelve grandchildren and three great grandchildren, two sisters and two brothers, and a host of other relatives and friends. He was converted and joined the Pentacostal church at Mooreland in 1922, and during his last illness he stated that he was going home, and was prepared to meet his Savior.
