Note - Obit as printed in Minco Minstrel."Funeral services for James Clarence Waldron, 78, of Minco, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 7, 1995, at the First Baptist Church of Minco, with Reverend Clyde Ventris and Reverend Sam Scott, officiating. James Clarence Waldron was born September 9, 1917 in Dover, Arkansas, the son of Robert Guy Waldron and Della (Vaughn) Waldron, and died Sunday, November 6, 1995, in Oklahoma City.Clarence had been a resident of Minco since the age of 14.He married Dorothy Mae Kinsey December 21, 1940 in Chickasha. He was retired from Grady County after working 27 years which included two terms as County Commissioner.He is preceded in death by his parents, three sister, Lola Martin, Irene Lumpkin, and Sue Waldron; and one brother, Calvin Waldron.Survivors include his (wife) Dorothy of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. David (Janet) Mitchum of Minco; two brothers, Ed Waldron of Plainview, Arkansas, and Burl Waldron of Oregon; three sister, Velma Myers of Alma, Arkansas, Grace Lumpkin of Oregon, and Vera Collins of Minco; three grandchildren, Bob Mitchum of Minco, Cathy Johnson of Denver, Colorado, and Kelly McAttee of Yukon; and three great-grandsons.Interment was in the Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of Huber-Reynolds funeral home of Minco." Pallbearers were Gerry Pullin, Michael Pullin, Roy Testerman, Tommy Ridge, Larry Joe Fitzgerald, Bob Guthery. Honorary Pallbearers were Glenn Carrell, Sonny Fitzgerald, Vernon Sluder, Leonard South, Raymond Douglas and Joe FitzgeralP
