Buck was the son of John Leonard McDaniel and Mable Dovie (Newcomb) McDaniel.
Buck married Mable Victoria Coker Simpson on September 15, 1944 in Anderson County, Texas. A copy of their marriage license was given to me by Bea and is in their Family History Book.
Mable had a daughter when she and Buck were married. Buck raised her as his own. After the marriage, Mable and Buck had one daughter.
