Jack was the son of John Leonard McDaniel and Mable Dovie (Newcomb) McDaniel.

Jack was first married to Dovie Burk, no record of dates or place of marriage. They had one daughter. Jack and Dovie divorced.

Jack then married a lady by the name of Helen on 24 Mar 1941 in Angleton, Texas (Brazoria Co). They had one daughter who was adopted by a young couple in the Houston area. Jack and Helen later divorced.

1--Jackie Lee {????-????]

Jack then married Dona Johnson on September 4, 1959 in Moab, Grand County, Utah. They did not have any children.

Jack served in the U.S. Army during W.W. II.

The picture of Jack and his mother was shared by his niece Bea (McDaniel) Dossey. Thank you Bea. His headstone picture was taken and put on this Memorial by Bill Wiler. Bill contacted me and he had found the correct cemetery that Jack and Dona were buried in. He transferred the Memorials over to me. Thanks so much Bill.

Jack was my double 2nd cousin on our family. The Anderson and the McDaniel lines.

Jack’s marriage date to his second wife Helen was furnished by Brad Wilson. He wrote he found a marriage record for Jack and his 2nd wife Helen Juanita Bertand? (handwriting is hard to make out the surname). They were married on 24 Mar 1941 in Angleton, Texas (Brazoria Co). Thank you Brad.
