Elaine F. Pollock, 52, of Van Wert, died 2:58 p.m. Tuesday at Van Wert County Hospital. She was born Dec. 24, 1949, in Toledo to Charles J. and Rae Dean (Tyler) Benner. On Jan. 20, 1968, she married Larry W. Pollock, who died Sept. 13, 1995. Survivors include a son, Charles (Kimberly) Pollock of Ohio City; a daughter, Jodi (boyfriend Rob Myers) Pollock of Van Wert; three brothers, Philip Benner of Church, Va., and Douglas (Robbin) Benner and David (Agnes) Benner of Van Wert; three sisters, Christine (Tom) Stutz of Delphos and Debra K. Benner and Bonnie (Paul) Coburn of Van Wert; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Susan Baucom. Mrs. Pollock had worked at Kennedy Mfg. in Van Wert for 25 years. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home, Van Wert, the Rev. Dr. Joseph Harr officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery, Middle Point. Friends may call 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Preferred memorials are to United Brethren Church or Trinity Friends Church.
