Mrs. Mangum---Services for Mrs. Burgie L. Mangum, 76, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Itta Bena Presbyterian Church. She was born Jan. 28, 1901 and died Aug. 17, 1977. Mrs. Mangum, wife of Joe Mangum, died Wednesday at Greenwood Leflore Hospital. She leaves her husband; a son, Walker Mangum of Helena, Ark.; Three daughters, Mrs. Catherine Sullivan and Mrs. Jewel Peeples both of Itta Bena, Ms., Mrs. Frances Armstrong of Jackson, Ms. Burial will be in Itta Bena Cemetery. Williams and Lord Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
